not just another momma blog, the down & dirty of finding my groove, an ALL-access pass to becoming a mompreneur

Important Update for Back’nGrooveMom Readers!

I got to admit that the start of summer has ushered in a bit of writer’s block for me.  I was so excited over the reappearance of the sun and the promise of spending time outdoors that my brain was a bit distracted!  Then, this morning, while I was spinning away…..a rush of ideas came to me!

I am sure that you are thinking that this is AWESOME, and yes – it is.  However, at some point at the end of this week or the beginning of next, http://backngroovemom.com will be down for a bit of repair and a facelift.  Hey – we all need a good facial and mani/pedi now and again, and my site needs a bit of touch-up that will result in it being offline for a brief time period.

The good news is that I will have a ton of amazing content to share with you when my revitalized site makes its re-entry.  The freshly manicured/pedicured site will still be at http://backngroovemom.com, and will cater to all of you new and seasoned mompreneurs looking for a place to connect and share.  I will still be blogging for you all, and will be introducing many new features along the way.

It is a very exciting time for me, and I am so thrilled to share it with you!  As always, I appreciate all of your support and reader-ship, and it is an honor to share my experiences with you.

Absolutely feel free to leave suggestions here or send me a tweet to @backngroovemom with suggestions for what you want to read about on the new site! Thanks for your patience  – Rachel

  1. Hi Rachel!
I am so glad I read your post this morning; I am a big fan and there are two people I know you would love to interview once you are up and running again. One is Tammy Tribble, she is co-author of a new book called “Mom Entrepreneur Extraordinarie” great book where top experts share their success and the new and revised ways of having it all. Tammy talks about branding and how important it is as you know, she has great ideas. I love this book! Let me know if you want a copy.

Another mom entrepreneur, Graciela Tiscareno-Sato, Air Force Navigator, owner of Gracefully Global Group, wife and mother of three, and now the author of “Latinnovating: Green American Jobs and the Latinos Creating Them”. (I can send you an ebook on that one) She is amazing. She just met with some folks from the White House interested in a program she has developed called “The Two By 2020 Mentoring Challenge” which helps get Latinos through the educational system with success. You would not believe how many of these kids don’t make it through school at all, (like even through grade school and middle school) and her program is to get people to mentor them. As you probably know, they will be the largest populous come 2020. Check out what she wrote about her experience with the White House folks on her blog, http://blog.latinnovating.com/ where she goes into greater depth. I would love to see you interview these incredible women and share their stories with all the backngroovemom.com readers! I know they will love it and find it inspiring. So many Latino moms need to know there is hope for them.! I love your blog! I love how down to earth and real you are; how inspiring you are; and how you love to share. You are smart, like these women, and I know you will all connect and help each other. I hope to hear from you! You can reach me at lynettehoy1@gmail.com or at 510-814-8325. Thank you for letting me share!
